Healthy Easy Breakfast Ideas

Healthy eating is one of the things I think keeps you feeling good and has a very big impact on one’s quality of life in general. I really think it has a bigger impact than what most people realize, and I believe that in the coming years we will  start seeing more of this and understanding it more.

That’s why – I thought it would be great to post a few healthy yummy breakfast ideas.

Lemon Water

The first one I wanted to talk about is starting your day with lemon water.  There are countless health benefits mentioned for this all over the internet. For me, it just tastes great and makes me feel good and refreshed. Like I cleaned up my system. So I couldn’t recommend it more.

Green Smoothie

Starting your day with a  green smoothie can really change your day completely. And a great, easy recipe for a green smoothie can help you make it more often.

My go-to recipe is usually made out of:

  • A handful of lettuce (better fresh and organic if possible because it goes into your smoothie) \ You can add or substitute the lettuce for other green leaves like kale.  You can also add a bit of Celery, mint or Basil leaves for taste.
  • Fruit – An apple, some strawberries, whatever you have in your fridge.
  • A spoon of chia seeds (you can’t feel their taste 🙂 and they have a lot of great benefits)
  • A little bit of fat – a spoon of almond butter/ a spoon of peanut butter/ a bit of coconut milk (don’t go overboard or it will taste weird).
  • One date (to give it sweetness and kind of tie it all together. whatever you put in there) – you can add two dates for more sweetness.

Recipe:

Blend!!!!!

That’s it.

Enjoy!

Another cool really easy recipe is:

Sweet Oatmeal

What you will need:

Handful of oatmeal

A little bit of plant based milk (I like Almond milk – it’s the best!)

Some fruit (strawberry/banana/apple, whatever you like)

About a teaspoon of chia seeds

Some almonds\pecans\nuts\peanut butter\almond butter – for fat (very important and will keep you full and could actually help you lose weight in the end  according to the internet)

Recipe:

Add some boiling water to the oatmeal, mix, add all other ingredients on top.

Enjoy! 🙂

Healthy Chocolate Balls

What you will need:

About 4 dates (soaked in warm water for a bit)

Tablespoon of Cacao (healthy, organic one)

A handful of different nuts

Teaspoon of chia seeds

A bit of organic peanut butter

Teaspoon of shredded coconut

Table spoon of almond flour (you should always have it around, you can make so many things out of it :))

A bit of water

Recipe:

Blend all together!

Make balls of the paste, if it’s too thin add a bit of shredded coconut or almond flour.

Yummy!!!!

Good luck, enjoy and start living a healthier life one bite at a time 🙂
